HUME is a members’ wellness club in Venice Beach that redefines what modern restoration can feel like. My interior design scope shaped a sequence of rooms that privilege tactility, warmth, and ritual over display. Materials were chosen for their ability to read as honest and elemental: stone, timber, and textured plaster held in soft light. To create a sensory counterpoint to the pace of the city outside.

Within this framework, movement becomes meditative: circulation doubles as transition, communal spaces blur into private ones, and moments of stillness are deliberately carved into the plan. HUME is designed as a place where wellness is less an activity than an atmosphere; something absorbed, rather than completed.
